PILCHER, Rena Alexis -- Rena Alexis PILCHER, 1, died Tuesday, July 17, 2007, in Ames.

A service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with Mark Shaner offering words of comfort.

Family visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family. Cards and memorials may be sent to the PILCHER family at 1837 Brookville Road, Fairfield 52556.

Rena was born Dec. 1, 2005, in Iowa City, the daughter of Jerod PILCHER and Jessica OLDEN.

Survivors include her father of Fairfield and mother of Ames; her grandparents, Gordon and Barbara PILCHER of Fairfield and Mary FARRIER of Ames; and her great-grandparents, James and Helen RIPPEY of Fairfield, Ruth PILCHER of Ottumwa and Eber and Vera DIENER of Mount Pleasant.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Don FARRIER, and great-grandfather, Clarence PILCHER.
