COOK, Everett Kent -- Everett Kent COOK, 48, of Coweta, Okla., formerly of Fairfield, died Sunday, July 15, 2007, in Coweta.

COOK, Everett Kent -- Everett Kent COOK, 48, of Coweta, Okla., died Sunday, July 15, 2007, at home.

A graveside memorial service will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield.

Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Danny Cary officiating.

Condolences may be sent to the family at www.raymondfuneralhomes.com.

Memorials may be made to his parents.

Mr. COOK was born July 8, 1959, in Fairfield, the son of Everett Paul and Mary L. HARPER COOK. He married Dena K. BUZZARD Jan. 29, 1982, in Keosauqua. The couple divorced in 2000.

Mr. COOK attended Fairfield Schools. He worked at Rockwell as a machinist. He then moved to Oklahoma where he worked as a machinist for Autoturn Company in Broken Arrow, Okla.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, looking for arrowheads and mushrooming.

Survivors include two daughters, Jennifer COOK of North Liberty and Sarah COOK of Fairfield; his parents, Mary and Weldell "Charlie" NEIL of Fairfield; three brothers, Terry NEIL of Birmingham, Kevin COOK of Farmington, Minn., and Jon NEIL of Bloomfield; and one sister, Cathy LATHROP of Richland.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother.
