HENRY BERG FUNERAL IS HELD

Lockridge - Funeral service was held Friday afternoon for Henry Berg, 82, who died Wednesday morning at his home. Rev. Richard Engstrom officated and burial was at Lockridge cemetery.

Mr. Berg a resident of Lockridge since his retirement from the farm was born in Germany and came to this country when he was three years old.

On January 8, 1896, he was married to Amelia Womelsdorf, who survives him. Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Clara Liggit of Fairfield, four sons, Frank, Charlie and Clarence all of Fairfield, and Roy of Lockridge. There are seven grandchildren, two brothers, Charles of East Pleasant Plain and Frank Berg of Emporia Kan., and one sister, Mrs. Mary Sauer of E???nd, Wash. One son, Harold, preceded him in death.
