Page 3, Column 2BURTON ALLEN FUNERAL HELD TODAY
The funeral of Burton John Alonzo ALLEN, the little son of Mr. and Mrs Burton ALLEN who passed away yesterday morning at their home on West Grimes street, was held this morning at ten o'clock at the home. There was a short service in charge of Mrs. Marshall C Alcott and Misses Fay and Wilma Woods sang two hymns. The interrment took place in Evergreen cemetery.
The little boy was aged two years, eleven months and twenty-eight days at the time of his death. He Was born in Ottumwa and came to Fairfield while a babe with his parents. He has been ill five weeks with typhoid fever and his death has been expected by friends of the family for several days.
