THOMAS, Frank E. 'Bud' -- Frank E. "Bud" THOMAS, 69, of Fairfield, died Thursday, June 21, 2007, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

A funeral is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Suburban Heights Baptist Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Harold Baker officiating. Interment will be in Oak Lawn Cemetery at Keosauqua.

Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

A memorial has been established to the family in Thomas' name.

Mr. THOMAS was born Dec. 22, 1937, in Fairfield, the son of Dorsey "Mike" and Emma "Lucille" MILLER THOMAS. He married Nancy Ann GARRISON June 30, 1962, in Fairfield. She died Nov. 2, 1999.

Mr. THOMAS grew up in Fairfield and lived in the Fairfield and Libertyville communities all his life. He served in the U.S. Navy and Iowa National Guard. He worked at J & B Plastics for 38 years before his retirement in 2000.

Mr. THOMAS had participated in and enjoyed watching auto racing.

Survivors include two sons, Kevin THOMAS and wife Audria of Fairfield and Marty THOMAS of Fairfield; one daughter, Tammy THOMAS of Fairfield; one granddaughter; one brother, Bill THOMAS of Ottumwa; and two sisters, Sally BAKER of Bloomfield and Sharon REIGHARD of Ottumwa.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents.
