CASS, H. Kathryn -- H. Kathryn CASS, 87, of Keosauqua, died at 11:25 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2007, in the Van Buren County Hospital emergency room in Keosauqua.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua, with the Rev. Richard Eis officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Bentonsport Cemetery.
Family visitation will be from 1:30-2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Memorials to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation may be left at the funeral home or mailed to the family at 2151 Lake View Ridge Drive, N.E., Solon 52333.
Mrs. CASS was born Feb. 2, 1920, in Shelbina, Mo., the daughter of George and Rose MOREY CLARK. She married Warren H. CASS. He died July 30, 1996.
Mrs. CASS lived most of her life in Van Buren County. She graduated from Stockport High School in 1937. She was a homemaker and had worked at Bonaparte Glove Factory, Hainline Nursing Home and Bonaparte and Harmony schools.
She volunteered at Van Buren Good Samaritan Center and had assisted elderly friends in Bonaparte.
Survivors include two sons, Ronald CASS and wife Bernadette of Oak Harbor, Wash., and Marvin CASS and wife Rhonda of Solon; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; her stepfather, Arthur CLARK; two daughters, Sherri Lynn and Judith; one son, Gary; five brothers; two sisters; and one grandson.
