PATTON, Florence E. -- Florence E. PATTON, 85, of Fairfield, died Sunday morning, April 22, 2007, at Jefferson County Hospital Living Care Center in Fairfield.

A service is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Jim Wotherspoon officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield.

Visitation will be from 7-8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. PATTON was born Aug. 4, 1921, in Butts, Mo., the daughter of Robert and Minnie COFFMAN TAYLOR. She married Clarence "Pat" PATTON June 29, 1939, in Maryville, Mo. He died July 30, 2001.

Mrs. PATTON was a homemaker. She moved to Fairfield in 1965.

She was a member of the Disabled Veterans Auxiliary and First Baptist Church.

Survivors include three sons, Clarke and wife Kay of Council Bluffs, Larry and wife Stephanie of Council Bluffs and Terry of Fairfield; one daughter, Patricia LUZADDER and husband Harold of Fairfield; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; one brother, Melvin TAYLOR of Missouri Valley; and one sister, Edna TAYLOR of Missouri Valley.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one son, Robert; two grandsons; two sisters; and two brothers.
