OLIPHANT, Dell SCHWAMM -- Dell SCHWAMM OLIPHANT, born Oct. 7, 1915 in New York City, passed away peacefully a little after 5 a.m. on Sat. Feb. 3.
She has been a Fairfield resident since the early 1980s. She set up the Learning Resource Center at MSAE, and volunteered there as a Learning Specialist for over 20 years. Her devotion to creating coherence for the world has been completely one-pointed, as she has taught Maharishi's Transcendental Meditation technique to many, volunteered weekly at the Fairfield Maharishi Enlightenment Center and attended Dome twice a day until recently. She exemplifies Maharishi's pure knowledge. She has been an inspiration and a dear friend to all.
She is succeeded by her daughter, Daphne Louise SCHWAMM and son, Jonathan Carl SCHWAMM.
There will be a memorial celebration Sat., Feb. 10, 2 p.m. at the Henry Ogden Clark Auditorium, MSAE.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Dharma Foundation or to the New York State Campus, U.S. Brahmasthan or to Maharishi Peace Palace for Ladies, Fairfield. (Details will be available at the celebration.)
