A service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Traverce Harrison officiating. Interment will be at Glasgow Cemetery in Glasgow.
Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.
Memorials may be made to First Christian Church in Fairfield.

Mr. FICKEL was born Sept. 28, 1943, in Batavia, the son of Alfred Earl and Mary Billingsley FICKEL. He married Esther HOUGH in 1974 in Washington, Iowa.
Mr. FICKEL was a graduate of Indianola High School and Iowa State University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Mr. FICKEL worked in lost prevention at the Wal-Mart Warehouse in Mount Pleasant and also was a door greeter for Wal-Mart. Sept. 13, 2005, he received a heart transplant at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
He was a member of First Christian Church and Fairfield Square Dance Club.
Survivors include his wife; three sisters, Dorothy CRAWFORD of Houston, Texas, Marilyn KORSEBERG of Washburn, Wis., and Mary Sue FICKEL of Indianola.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Robert; and one sister, Lola Belle RANARD.
