MURPHY, Judith Ann -- Judith Ann MURPHY, 66, of Davenport, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, at Good Samaritan Center in Davenport.

In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. MURPHY's body was donated to the Deeded Body Program at the University of Iowa. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home in Davenport is assisting with arrangements.

Mrs. MURPHY was born Nov. 9, 1940, in Fairfield, the daughter of Emerson and Eileen DALLNER MASDEN. She married Donald MURPHY in 1962.

Mrs. MURPHY graduated from Fairfield High School in 1959. She attended Northwest Institute School of Technology in Minneapolis. She moved to Davenport to work as a lab technician at Palmer Clinic.

Mrs. MURPHY was a member of Sacred Heart Cathedral.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Kevin MURPHY of East Moline and James MURPHY and wife Tanya of Davenport; two granddaughters; her mother of Fairfield; and two sisters, Janet FRETHEIM of Marion and Marilyn CLARK of Chariton.

MURPHY, Judith Ann -- Judith Ann MURPHY, 66, of Davenport, died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, at Good Samaritan Center in Davenport.

A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in Fairfield, with the Rev. Mike Metz officiating. The body has been donated to the University of Iowa Deeded Body Program.

Mrs. MURPHY was born Nov. 9, 1940, in Fairfield, the daughter of Emerson and Eileen DALLNER MASDEN. She married Donald MURPHY Nov. 7, 1962, in Davenport.

Mrs. MURPHY grew up in the Richwoods community and graduated from Fairfield High School in 1958. She attended Northwest Institute of Medical Technology in Minneapolis and worked as a lab technician at Palmer Clinic in Davenport.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Cathedral in Davenport.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Kevin MURPHY of East Moline and James MURPHY and wife Tanya of Davenport; two granddaughters; her mother of Fairfield; and two sisters, Marilyn CLARK of Chariton and Janet FRETHEIM of Marion.

She was preceded in death by her father and four grandparents, Frank and Amy MASDEN and Fred and Lorena DALLNER.
