MECK, Richard Lee 'Dick' -- Richard Lee "Dick" MECK, 50, of Davenport, died Friay, March 9, 2007, at Genesis East Medical Center.

No service will be held. Burial will be in Ollie Cemetery in Ollie.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until noon Tuesday at The Runge Mortuary and Crematory in Davenport.

Memorials may be made to Davenport Public Library.

Mr. MECK was born Sept. 22, 1956, in Fairfield, the son of Harold and Lois STEPHENS MECK.

Mr. MECK grew up in Davenport and attended West High School. He remained a lifelong member of the Davenport community.

Survivors include one daughter, Rebecca LUCAS of Coralville; one son, Richard Lee MECK Jr. of Ainsworth; four grandchildren; two sisters, Deborah WALLACE of Spring, Texas, and Christie HALL of Reno, Nev.; and his mother of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his father.
