HOWARD, Patricia Lee -- Patricia Lee HOWARD, 80, of Bulverde, Texas, died Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, at Silver Tree Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Schertz, Texas.

A funeral will be at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Brighton United Church in Brighton, with the Rev. Kitch Shatzer officiating. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery in Brighton.

Visitation will be from 12:30-1:30 p.m. Sunday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to ESA Foundation Scholarship Fund, 363 W. Drake Road, Ft. Collins, CO 80526-2882.

Arrangements are in the care of Gould Funeral Home of Brighton.

Mrs. HOWARD was born Nov. 21, 1926, in the Brighton area, the daughter of Andrew Lee and Edith Molly ESSLEY STACY. She married George HOWARD in 1943.

Mrs. HOWARD grew up in the Brighton area. In 1943, she graduated from Brighton High School. In addition to Iowa, she lived most of her life in Alaska and Texas. She was an administrative assistant.

Mrs. HOWARD was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha International for 59 years. She also served on the Bulverde, Texas, Library Board.

She enjoyed traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Laurie STILES and husband David of Canon Falls, Minn.; two sons, Terry HOWARD and wife Abby of Center Point, Texas, and Steven HOWARD of Bulverde; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one sister, Twila HUNTER of Washington, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one infant brother.
