Carol Louise HAAS

Carol Louise HAAS, 49, of Fairfield, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids (note: in Linn Co., IA).

A funeral is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fairfield, with President Dan Butcher officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.

Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

A memorial has been established. Cards and memorials may be sent to 1703 Kosola Ave., Apt. A-1, Fairfield 52556.

Mrs. HAAS was born May 23, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Paul and Patricia TITE SECHRIST. She married Mitch HAAS Sept. 28, 1988, in Keosauqua.

Mrs. HAAS graduated from Lakewood High School in Lakewood, Ohio, in 1975. She continued her education at Kent State and Indiana University in Gary, Ind., majoring in communications. She served a church mission in Sacramento, Calif.

Mrs. HAAS was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fairfield. She was the lead in several play performances.

Survivors include her husband; her parents of Chesterton, Ind.; two sisters, Barbara CAVENDER of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, and Linda BOTTOM of Lincoln, Ill.; and one brother, George SECHRIST of Littleton, Colo.
