EMMERT, Mona Marie CAMPBELL -- Mona Marie CAMPBELL EMMERT, 92, of Jacksonville, Fla, died Tuesday, May 29, 2007, at home.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Forbes Cemetery, north of Keosauqua, with the Rev. Harold Schnedler officiating.

Family visitation will be from 10-10:30 a.m. Monday at Pedrick Funeral Home in Keosauqua.

Memorials to Forbes Cemetery may be left at or mailed to the funeral home at PO Box 513, Keosauqua 52565.

Mrs. EMMERT was born Oct. 15, 1914, near Mount Zion, the daughter of Charles and Florence BAUMAN CAMPBELL. She married Perry J. EMMERT Nov. 5, 1944. He died June 3, 1991.

Mrs. EMMERT grew up in the Mount Zion community and graduated from Keosauqua High School. She graduated from the University of Iowa in 1937. She was a dietitian until her marriage. She and her husband lived in various locations, including Okinawa and Puerto Rico while he was an (sic) U.S. Air Force officer and Jacksonville where he was with the U.S. Weather Service.

Mrs. EMMERT was a Presbyterian.

Her interests included family, sewing, cooking, travel, photography and gardening.

Survivors include one son, Wayne EMMERT of Jacksonville; one daughter, Marjorie JOHNSON of Apex, N.C.; four grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one sister, Margaret CAMPBELL of Washington, Iowa.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Robert and Daniel CAMPBELL; and one sister, Ruth ARNOLD.
