DIMMITT, Robert Bruce -- Robert Bruce DIMMITT, 80, 2237 Highway 34 East, died at 7:45 p.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

A private graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield, with the Rev. Keevin Koch officiating. Burial will follow the service.

A register may be signed until 4 p.m. today at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Memorials may be made to the Parkview Care Center activity fund, 2237 Highway 34 East, Fairfield 52556.

Mr. DIMMITT was born Jan. 11, 1926, the son of Clyde Wilbur and Eva Jewel MITCHELL DIMMITT.

Mr. DIMMITT lived all his life in the Fairfield area. He lived at Parkview Care Center for the past three months. His previous residence was ResCare Cedar Creek Facility.

Survivors include one brother, Glen "Bud" DIMMITT and wife Erma of Fairfield and one sister, Rose Ann DIMMITT of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his parent;, (sic - parents?) one sister, Ruth Jeannette FRANKLIN; and three brothers, William Lester and Clyde DIMMITT.
