CLARK, Lavada B. -- Lavada B. CLARK, 87, of Packwood, died today, Thursday, March 8, 2007, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.
Arrangements are pending at Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.

CLARK, La Vada Bernice -- La Vada Bernice CLARK, age 87, of Packwood, died at 2:03 A.M. Thursday, March 8, 2007 at the Long Term Care Unit at the Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.
Born August 10, 1919 at Kilbourne, Van Buren County, Iowa. She was the daughter of Osa and Eva PERKINS STAGERS.
She was reared and educated in the Packwood community. La Vada married Herbert CLARK on August 28, 1937 at Lancaster, Missouri. A homemaker, she was a member of the First Christian Church of Packwood, Christian Women Fellowship (CWF), the Fairfield Hospital Auxiliary and the Iowa Prairie China Painters.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert F. CLARK on December 8, 1973, her parents, one sister Donna HARTNELL and one brother Robert STAGERS.
Surviving are her son William (Bill) W. CLARK of Lafayette, Louisiana, her daughter Donna (Roger) HANSON of Manchester, Iowa and 3 grandchildren: Jodi HANSON, Michael HANSON and Alexandra CLARK. One brother Richard STAGERS of Richland and one brother-in-law Tommy HARTNELL of Richland.
Funeral services are scheduled for 10:30 A.M. Monday at the First Christian Church of Packwood with Reverend Harland Van Voorst officiating. Burial will be in the Packwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. at the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Packwood.
Arrangements are in the care of the Raymond Funeral Home in Fairfield.
