Fredrick BROWN, 55, of Douds, died March 15, 2006, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.

A service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Wagler Funeral Home in Bloomfield, with the Rev. Larry Wagner officiating. Burial with graveside military rites by Reed Whisler Post 78 of the Bloomfield American Legion will be in Taylor Cemetery in Appanoose County.

Visitation will be begin at 4 p.m. Saturday, with family present from 6-8 p.m.

Mr. BROWN was born September 9, 1950, in Memphis, Mo., the son of James and Pearley Ramsey BROWN. He married Carla Ann JOHNSON Dec. 19, 1993, in Bunch.

Mr. BROWN worked at Dexter Company in Fairfield.

He was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Keosauqua.

Survivors include his wife; six daughters, Sherry BROWN of Chilhowee, Mo., Crystal PACKHAM of Warrensburg, Mo., Patricia BROWN of Kirksville, Mo. and Kelisa JOHNSON, Chariti BROWN and Jenaleigh BROWN, all of Douds; eight grandchildren; his mother of Santa Maria, Calif.; one brother, Lloyd BROWN of Downing, Mo.; and one sister, Shirley ALLEN of Santa Maria.

He was preceded in death by his father; one daughter, Angel BROWN; and one son, Adam MOORE.
