Mon., Oct. 16, 2006, p. 10.Arlene Elizabeth TEDROW, 82, of rural Fairfield, died Friday, Oct. 13, 2006, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City.
A service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Behner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Mike Metz officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Moriah Cemetery in rural Van Buren County.
Family visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church Kitchen or VFW Ladies Auxiliary Kitchen. Cards and memorials may be sent to 1766 Brookville Road, Fairfield 52556.

Mrs. TEDROW was born Jan. 16, 1924, in Libertyville, the daughter of Frank and Aletha Bowers WLLIAMS. She married Glenn O. TEDROW Feb. 23, 1947, in Libertyville.
Mrs. TEDROW was a homemaker.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Fairfield. She also was a member of United Methodist Women, VFW Auxiliary, Heritage Club, Packwood Senior Citizens, Sew & So Club and Victory Club.
Survivors include her husband; two children, Gloria COUNTRYMAN and husband Phil and Charles TEDROW and wife Joni, all of Fairfield; five grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; one great-grandchild; and six stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Johnnie WILLIAMS and Russell WILLIAMS; and one sister, Pauline DIEHL.
