Claude “Sam” Samuel NICHOLSON, 23, of Fairfield died today, Friday, Nov. 10, 2006, at home.

Arrangements are pending at Behner Funeral Home and Crematory in Fairfield.

Claude “Sam” Samuel NICHOLSON, 23, of Fairfield, died Friday, Nov. 10, 2006, at home.

A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, with the Rev. Keevin Koch and the Rev. Charles Fladung officiating. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery in East Pleasant Plain.

Family visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Nicholson family and sent to 2664 Highway 1 South, Fairfield 52556.

Mr. Nicholson was born Jan. 25, 1983, in Fairfield, the son of Claude L. and Sharon Sieren NICHOLSON.

Mr. NICHOLSON lived all his life in the Fairfield community. He graduated from Fairfield High School, where he participated in football, wrestling and track in 2001. He was a supervisor and painter at Finney Industrial Painting.

His interests included hunting, fishing, playing pool and Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Survivors include his parents; one sister, Mychelle CLARK and husband David of Decorah; three brothers, Mike NICHOLSON and wife Marsha of Richland, Duffy NICHOLSON of Packwood and Monty NICHOLSON and wife Michelle of Richland; and his grandmothers, Loretta SIEREN of Brighton and Vivian NICHOLSON of Wichita, Kan.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Cletus SIEREN and Glenn NICHOLSON.
