Hazel MICHLER, 85, of Kansas City, MO, passed away at her home on Monday, April 10.

Services will be held Friday, April 14, at 11 AM at the First United Methodist Church of North Kansas City, 2100 Howell St. Cremation will follow the service with interment at Fell Cemetery, Libertyville, IA, at a later date.

Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM, Thursday, April 13, at the McGilley Antioch Chapel, 3325 NE Vivion Rd., Kansas City, MO.

Hazel was born September 15, 1920, in Libertyville, IA, to Wm. Clyde and Maude (MASON) MILLER. She was a 1938 graduate of Libertyville High School and a 1939 graduate of the Chillicothe MO School of Business. She moved to Kansas City in 1940 where she met her future husband, Wm. H. MICHLER. They were married August 30, 1941. After WW II, the couple returned and made their lifelong home in Kansas City. Hazel was an executive secretary for Farmland Industries for 39 years.

She enjoyed travel, flower gardening, genealogy, winters at South Padre Island, Texas, bingo, her family and friends. She will be dearly missed by all of them

Survivors include: daughter Carole A. LEE and her husband Dr. Larry A. LEE; one sister Wilma C. HECKART; two granddaughters Briday C. WARE and Melissa E. ANDERSON and their husbands David WARE and R. Duane ANDERSON; three great-grandchildren Kelsey and Allan ANDERSON and Alea WARE; five nephews and two nieces.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, three sisters: Rosamund MILLER, Mary Caughlan ZEILER, and Mildred GREENFIELD, and great-grandson Chase Hutton WARE.

Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church.
