Dale Edward MCINTIRE, 77, of Fruitland Park, Fla., died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006.

Mr. MCINTIRE was born Jan. 19, 1929, in Fairfield, the son of Harold and Elsie MCINTIRE. He married Jane SCHLOSSER March 10, 1953.

Mr. MCINTIRE was a 1947 graduate of Fairfield High School. He was a resident of Florida most of his life and retired from the Schlitz Brewing Company in Tampa, Fla.

Mr. MCINTIRE served four years in the U.S. Army in California and Korea.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Jane; seven children; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four sisters, Arlene HAIFLEY, Marilyn KANE of Fairfield, Mary Helen VORWERK of Burlington and Pamela CUBBAGE of Batavia; and one brother, Steven MCINTIRE of Grimes.

He was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters; one brother, Harold J. MCINTIRE; and two sisters, Janet DICKEY and Carol MYERS.
