Gertrude M. LYDOPLH, 87, a longtime Stockport resident, died today, Friday, Sept. 27, 2006, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

Arrangements are pending at Behner Funeral Home and Crematory in Fairfield.

Gertrude M. LYDOLPH, 87, of Stockport, died Friday, Sept. 29, 2006, at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

A funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Stockport United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Mike Renken officiating. Burial will follow in Dibble Cemetery.

Family visitation will be from 5-6:30 p.m. Tuesday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Memorials may be made to Stockport United Methodist Church or Stockport American Legion Auxiliary. Cards and memorials may be sent to 3036 Westwood Drive, Fort Madison 52627.

Mrs. LYDOPH was born Oct. 17, 1918, in Utica, the daughter of Perry and Loretha Stevens PRATT. She married Glenn Ware LYDOLPH Aug. 21, 1939, in Las Vegas, Nev. He died June 19, 1990.

Mrs. LYDOLPH graduated from Stockport High School in 1937. Following her marriage, she lived in Woodland Hills, Calif., and returned to Stockport in 1973. She was a housewife.

Mrs. LYDOLPH was a member of Stockport United Methodist Church and Stockport American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors included one son, Steven LYDOLPH of Ferndale, Wash.; two grandsons; two brothers, Donald PRATT of Fort Madison and Perry PRATT of Chillicothe, Mo., and one sister, Betty CLARK of West Burlington.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two infant sons, Donald LeRoy LYDOPH and Carroll Dean LYDOLPH.
