Doreen Gannie, 73, of Fairfield died Friday, July 28, 2006, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.
Arrangements are pending at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Doreen GANNIE, 73, of Fairfield, passed away Friday July 28, 2006, at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

Arrangements are pending at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Doreen was born Sept. 27, 1932, in Georgetown, Guayana, the daughter of Lalu and Edith Croal LAMBERT.

Doreen is survived by five children, Peter GANNIE of Kingston, Jamaica, Inge HOVORKA and husband Ed of Fairfield, Jacqueline GANNIE of Kingston, Jamaica, Shoan DIETER and husband Chris of Fairfield, Vanessa HASKINS and husband Motier of Deerfield Beach, Fla.; 12 grandchildren, Richard HOVORKA, Christopher HOVORKA, Anuschka LUDWIG, Stephanie HOVORKA, Katherine HOVORKA, Peter HOVORKA, Tiffany HOVORKA, Brandon HOVORKA, Nicholas HOVORKA, Kellie-Ann HOVORKA, Gabriel DIETER and Matthew DIETER; and one great-grandson, Justin HOVORKA.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Paula GANNIE.
