Lorraine K. BARTON, 85, of Libertyville, died Saturday, Nov. 25, 2006, at home.

A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Faith United Methodist Church in Libertyville, with the Rev. Mike Renken officiating. Burial will be in Fell cemetery.

Family visitation will be from 6:30-8 p.m. today at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith United Methodist Church in Libertyville. Cards and memorials may be sent to the BARTON family, 2427 Indigo Blvd., Libertyville 52567.

Mrs. BARTON was born Jan. 10, 1921, in Mount Pleasant, the daughter of William and Jessie Carver KIRK. She married DeWayne L. BARTON Dec. 29, 1939.

Mrs. BARTON graduated from Mount Pleasant High School. She lived all of her married life in Jefferson County. She was a secretary for Dexter Company.

Mrs. BARTON was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.

She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, traveling and gardening.

Survivors include her husband; three children, Larry BARTON of Fairfield, Dennis BARTON and wife Connie of Libertyville and Carol STREED of Des Moines; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and six siblings, Annona JONES, Neal KIRK, Wanda SCHRAMM, Allen KIRK, Norlan KIRK and Betty BROOKS.
