Bonita “Bonnie” Eicher, 64, 56 Walnut Street, Tipton, Iowa, passed away April 30, 2006, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City from complications of a long illness.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 3, 2006, from 4-7 p.m. at Fry Funeral Home in Tipton.

A service will be held Thursday, May 4, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Steve Schmaljohn will officiate. Burial will be at Masonic Cemetery in Tipton.

She is survived by her sons, Mike HELM & wife LuAnn of West Liberty, Chuck EICHER & wife Treasa of Tipton, Scott EICHER of Tipton and Chris EICHER & wife Tevina of Tipton; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; her mother, Marjorie “Kinyon” BAILEY of Libertyville; her sisters, Phyllis SCHROCK & husband Clifford of Wellman, Carolyn SMITHBURG & husband Dennis of Batavia, Sally SCHROCK & husband Woodrow of Williamsburg; her brothers, Larry KINYON of Jacksonville, Florida, Terry KINYON & wife Mary of Denver, Colorado, and Donald KINYON of Galesburg, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Abraham EICHER on May 26, 1999, and her father, Denver KINYON.

Mrs. EICHER was born September 23, 1941, in Durant, the daughter of Denver KINYON and Marjorie BRIDGFORD. She married Abraham EICHER December 12, 1975.

Mrs. EICHER was an administrative professional at the University of Iowa. She graduated from Tipton High School in 1959 and from the American Institute of Business in Davenport.

She had a strong Christian faith and was a member of the World Health Organization and a past member of the Eagles.
