CRAWFORD, Mildred “Lucille” of Wellington, KS, formerly of Belle Plaine, KS, age 84, homemaker, died Wednesday, April 12, 2006.

Visitation 1-8 p.m. Saturday and 4-8 p.m. Sunday with family receiving friends from 4-6 p.m., Hatfield-Smith Funeral Home, Belle Plaine.

Service 2 p.m. Monday, Belle Plaine United Methodist Church.

Lucille was born September 2, 1921 at Sigourney, IA, daughter of Frank and Mable (AUTRY) NORTHUP. She graduated from Ollie High School in 1940 and married William H. ”Bill” CRAWFORD, December 24, 1944 at Fairfield, IA, he survives. She moved from Fairfield to Kansas in 1954. Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Gerald and Sherman NORTHUP and sons, Bill and John CRAWFORD.

Survivors: husband of 61 years, Bill; sons, Gerry and wife, Debbie, Belle Plaine, Jim, Byron, GA, Sherman, Belle Plaine; daughters, Mable and husband, Ken ROBBINS, Arvada, CO, Marlene and husband, Ted RIECKENBERG, Wellington, Merry and husband, Melvin HOSKINSON, Wichita; twenty-two grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
