John C. CARROLL, 49, of Fairfield, died Wednesday, June 21, 2006, at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.

A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. The body has been cremated.

Memorials may be made to Jefferson County Heart Association and sent to 606 S. Sixth St., Fairfield 52556.

Mr. CARROLL was born Nov. 13, 1956, in San Bernardino, Calif., the son of Billy and Juanita Savage CARROLL. He married Theresa CHUBICK Dec. 29, 1975, in San Bernardino.

Mr. CARROLL and his wife moved to Fairfield in 2005 from Chino Valley, Ariz. He was employed at Performance Pipe in Fairfield.

His interests included space, stars and planets, and he enjoyed electronics, computers, playing pool, DVDs, fishing and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife; three children, Patti MILLER and husband Michael of Libertyville, Kenny CARROLL of Fairfield and Christine BARRAS of North Carolina; and one brother, Jerry CARROLL of Chino Valley.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
