Keith CARRIS, 89, formerly of Packwood died at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 29, 2006 at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield.

A service will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Gould Funeral Home in Richland, with the Rev. Harlan Van Voorst officiating. Burial will be in Richland Friends Cemetery.

A Masonic service will be at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with family visitation following until 8 p.m.

Memorials to Jefferson County Hospital Living Care Center or Richland Lodge No. 38 may be left at the funeral home.

Mr. CARRIS was born Dec. 31, 1916, near Dublin in Washington County, the son of Dale and Clara Sheets CARRIS. He married Bette MAYER June 4, 1939.

Mr. CARRIS graduated from Richland High School in 1934 and attended Parsons College in Fairfield. He farmed in the rural Packwood area until he retired in 1986 and moved into Jefferson County Hospital Living Care Center in May 2000.

Mr. CARRIS was a member of Prairie View United Methodist Church, a 50-year member of Richland Masonic Lodge No. 38 and a 50-year member of Order of the Eastern Star Ollie Chapter No. 549.

Survivors include one daughter, Kay HADLEY and husband Wayne of Packwood; two sons, Ron CARRIS of Springfield, Mo., and Jon CARRIS and wife Jan of Madera, Calif.; four grandchildren; and one sister, Ruth RANDOLPH of Batavia.

His parents preceded him in death.
