Funeral Services To Be Wednesday For H. A. NELSON

Last rites will be Wednesday afternoon for Harvey Agustus NELSON, native of Jefferson county who passed away early this morning at the Crawford nursing home west of Fairfield.

The services will be at 2 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home with the Rev. S. P. Williamson in charge. Burial will be in the Salina cemetery.

Harvey Agustus NELSON, 80, was born July 25, 1872, in Salina, the son of the late J. F. & C. C. FREEBURG NELSON. He had made his home in Davenport for a number of years and returned to this community just a month ago.

He is survived by one brother L. J. NELSON, Fairfield; two nieces and two nephews, Mrs. John FINNEY and Mrs. Katherine ROBINSON and Verl and Rollie NELSON all, of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, F.O. and Victor NELSON.

Note: This cemetery was canvassed in the late 1960s, and at that time there was no gravestone recorded for Harvey. An obituary synopsis was included in the cemetery's notations however, and his Death Certificate notes burial was supposed to be in Salina Cemetery.
