Chris JOHNSON, well known farmer five miles east of the city, died at 12:30 today....

Born in Sweden 70 years ago June 17 and came to this country 48 years ago and settled in the neighborhood where he lived the rest of his life. Mrs. JOHNSON died three years ago.

The following children survive: Mrs. Fred JOHNSON of Mediapolis, Elmer JOHNSON who lives on the old home place, Mrs. Tilf JOHNSON of near Salina, Mrs. Edward QUICK of Four Corners, Ralph JOHNSON of Fairfield, and Valeda and Effie who live at home.
