J. W. DEXTER DIED AT 2 A. M. TODAY
Funeral of Old Resident To Be Held At Home Friday Afternoon.

John W. DEXTER, for a generation a resident of Fairfield, died at 2 oclock this morning at his home, 502 North C street after a week's illness. Funeral services will be held at the home Friday afternoon at 2 oclock and will be in charge of Dr. C. L. Tennant of the Methodist church. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. DEXTER was born October 8, 1850 at Wheeling, West Virginia. He is survived by his wife and two children, Mrs. Frank CORNELL of Fairfield and Wm. DEXTER of Osceola.
