Word has been received of the death at Los Angeles, Calif., of Mr. Joseph HOWE Thursday morning Sept. 24. He lived with his daughter, Mrs. Dr. FELLOWS.... Mr. HOWE was formerly a resident of this city, and was well known to all our older citizens. He used to occupy the place how occupied by R. T. GILMER, on Burlington Street. One of his daughters is the wife of Mr. J. T. SHEWARD.
