Front Page, Column 4Death of Anna HAMPSON.
General sorrow was caused by the death of Anna B. HAMPSON, at the home of her mother, Rachel HAMPSON, in this city on Saturday last. She was born in Fairfield, Sept. 8, 1858, had spent her whole life here, and by a kind and gentle spirit had endeared herself to all. For three years she had been a sufferer, always patient and cheerful. Rev. S. B. Ross and Rev. W. G. Thorn conducted funeral services at the residence Sunday afternoon. This is the third death in the HAMPSON family within about a year, and they have the warmest sympathy of their many friends under this heavy burden of grief.
