LEDGER, Wednesday, Ocotber 30 1929, 1-3.

Mrs. EMMA C. (McGIFFIN) McLEAN died this morning at the home of her son, Paul F. McLean, just west of the city.

Born in Washington Pa., September 21 1851. Came with her parents to Fairfield during the Civil War and lived for years on the McGiffin farm west of the city, now the Parks home.

Married in 1877(?); two sons, Harry and Paul F. Husband died eight years ago. Girlhood friend of Mrs. DuBois, whose funeral was held this afternoon.
