Page Eight, Column 5One Time Resident Dies In Michigan After Long Illness
Mrs. Raymond PEEBLER received word of the death of her aunt, Florence HEALD of Battle Creek, Michigan, who passed away last evening in a Battle Creek hospital. Miss HEALD, a former resident, had been in poor health for the past several years. The daughter of John and Malina (sic - Malinda) HEALD, she was reared and educated in Jefferson county and made her home here until 30 years ago at which time she moved to Battle Creek.
She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Emma BISHOP; Mrs. Laura GARDNER of Lansing, Michigan; and two brothers, Dr. C. W. HEALD of Battle Creek and Dr. John HEALD of Washington, D.C.
The body will be brought to Fairfield and services will be held at Hoskins funeral home at 2 p.m. Thursday. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
The body will arrive in Fairfield Thursday morning and will be taken to the Hoskins funeral home.
