Page 2, Column 4MRS. SARAH WRIGHT PASSED AWAY SUNDAY
Mrs. Sarah Jane WRIGHT, a well known resident of this city, passed away yesterday morning at four o'clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs .Mary HECKETHORN, at 602 West Kirkwood street, after an illness of five days with pneumonia.
Mrs. WRIGHT, who was the daughter of Jesse and Nancy LONG, was born near Nashville, Tenn. July 9, 1838 and later she removed to this city where she has since made her home. Sixty years ago she was united in marriage to Wm. WRIGHT who preceded her in death June 23d, 1913. To this union were born the following children, Josiah, Stephen and Jesse of this city, Mrs. I. J. SPRAY of Ottumwa, and Mrs Nancy FAULKNER and Mrs Mary HECKETHORN of this city. One daughter, Mrs Eliza INNMAN (sic - INMAN), passed away several years ago. She also leaves to mourn her loss three sisters, Mrs. Mary LIBLIN, east of Fairfield, Mrs. Melissa DILLER of Washington, and Mrs Elmira HODSON of Woodson, Kansas.
The funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 9:30 from the home of her daughter Mrs. HECKETHORN in charge of Rev. Louis Mendenhall and the remains will be interred in the Wright cemetery southeast of the city.
Many friends will extend sympathy to the sorrowing family in the loss of this good woman.

Mrs. Sarah Jane WRIGHT wife of the late William WRIGHT died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Mary HECKATHORN (sic) Sabbath morning after a brief illness with pneumonia.
The funeral services were held from the daughter's home Tuesday morning at 9:30 o'clock, conducted by the Kev. (sic - Rev.) L. Mendenhall. Interment was made in the Wright cemetery southeast of town.
Mrs. WRIGHT was born in Tennessee 77 years ago but came to this city at an early age. She was united in marriage with Wm. WRIGHT in 1855, seven children gracing the union. The father and one daughter preceded her in death.
The surviving children are Joseph, Stephen, Jesse, Mrs. Nancy FAULKNER and Mrs. Mary HECKATHORN of this city, and Mrs. I. J. SPRAY of Ottumwa.
