Wm. McCARTNEY, former Fairfield resident, died in Ottumwa Feb. 4. Bur. Ottumwa Cem.

Born near Libertyville, he was employed as a painter with the late John Rumer. Four years ago he moved to Ottumwa to live with his sister Mrs. John MUNSON.
