Page FIVE, Column 3LOCAL WOMAN DIES AT HOME
Mrs. M. E. GLOTFELTY, 67, well known Fairfield resident, passed away at her home, 704 S. Second street, Sunday morning about 11:30 a.m. She had been seriously ill for several weeks.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. with Dr. L. H. Scheerer in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery. Members of the Rebekah lodge will conduct short services at the church instead of at the cemetery.
The body will lie in state at the church from 12:30 p.m. until time for the services.
Elnora GLOTFELTY was the daughter of the late Victor and Nancy ANDERSON. She was born September 11, 1880, at Stratford, Iowa.
She was united in marriage to M. E. GLOTFELTY on November 15, 1899, near Libertyville. Mrs. GLOTFELTY was an active member of the First Methodist church and the Rebekah Lodge No. 386.
She is survived by one granddaughter, Mrs. Ivan LIGHTWINE, Oakland, California; seven sisters, Carrie ANDERSON, Fairfield; Mrs. Ethel NYLANDER, Fresno, California; Mrs. Mary GOLDMAN, Norwalk California; Mrs. Myrtle JOHNSTON, Birmingham; Mrs. Mable LOVELESS, Washington Iowa; Mrs. Goldie RAIL, Fairfield; Mrs. Edith HEADY, Los Angeles, California; and one brother, Dewey ANDERSON, West Burlington, Iowa.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Hazel Marie JOHNSON, and a sister, Mrs. Ada JOHNSTON.
The body is at the Weston Behner funeral home.

Woman's Relief corps members and all Rebekahs are requested to meet at the Methodist church Wednesday afternoon at 1:15 o'clock, to attend the funeral of Mrs. Elnora GLOTFELTY in a body.
Members of the Wesleyan Bible class of the Methodist church are also to meet at the same time in the foyer of the church to attend the services in a group.

You Are Hereby Notified, That an instrument of writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Elnora GLOTFELTY, Deceased dated February 7, 1948 having been this day filed, open and read, Tuesday the 16th day of March, 1948, is fixed for hearing proof of same at the Court House in Fairfield, Iowa, before the District Court of said County, or the Clerk of said Court, and at 9:30 o'clock A.M., of the day above mentioned all persons interested are hereby notified and required to appear, and show cause, if any they have, why said instrument should not be probated and allowed as and for the last Will and Testament of said deceased.
