M. E. GLOTFELTY DIED AT 9 P. M.

Funeral Tomorrow Afternoon If Relatives From Distance Do Not Come

M. E. GLOTFELTY died last night at 9 oclock at his home, 6 miles south of the city. Mr. GLOTFELTY has been ill for three weeks.

He was born March 28, 1874. Those who survive him are his wife and daughters, Mrs. Hazel JOHNSON who lived near them, and Mrs. L. E. CLINKENBEARD of Fairfield, three brothers, W. N. GLOTFELTY and J. J. (sic - J. I.) GLOTFELTY of near Batavia, and L. R. GLOTFELTY of Fairfield. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 oclock unless word from relatives in the distance changes the plans.

MICHAEL E. GLOTFELTY

Michael Emmett GLOTFELTY, passed away Friday evening, June 19, 1925 at his home, 6 miles southwest of Fairfield.

Michael Emmett GLOTFELTY, son of James and Margaret GLOTFELTY, was born near where he passed away March 28, 1874. His mother and father preceded him in death several years ago. He was united in marriage to Elnora ANDERSON November 15, 1899. To this union one daughter was born, Mrs. Hazel JOHNSON.

There are left to mourn their loss beside his widow and daughter, three brothers: L. R., Wm. and J. I.; one sister, Mrs. L. E. CLINKENBEARD; two granddaughters, Helen Marie and June Elnora JOHNSON and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held at the home Sunday, June 21, at 2:30 by Rev. F.M. Garrett, pastor M. E. church of Libertyville. Burial was made in Evergreen cemetery, Fairfield.

[Transcriber's note: one obituary identifies Mrs. L. E. CLINKENBEARD as the sister of M. E. GLOTFELTY, the other as his daughter; Mrs. L. E. CLINKENBEARD is Margaret May GLOTFELTY CLINKENBEARD who was born in 1879, and so she cannot be Michael's daughter.]
