GLOTFELTY RITES THIS AFTERNOON

Large Crowd Attend Funeral Services At Christian Church

The last rites for Walter E. GLOTFELTY 800 North Court, who passed away Wednesday morning from heart failure, were held this afternoon at 2:30 oclock from the Christian church in charge of Dr. C. L. Tennant of the Methodist church. Interment took place in Evergreen cemetery. Many beautiful floral pieces were sent by relatives and friends as a tribute to this well respected man.

W. E. GLOTFELTY

Walter Earnest (sic - Ernest) GLOTFELTY, son of Jacob and Margaret, born near Libertyville December 27, 1874 and died here April 18, 1923, aged 48 years, 3 months and 21 days.

He had always lived in this county except two years the family spent in Michigan.

He was married Miss Frances WHITSON November 19, 1902 to which union were born two children, Mrs. Lee ODUM and Earnest (sic - Ernest) GLOTFELTY both of this city.

He and his wife and two children were converted in a meeting A. K. Harper held in the Methodist Episcopal church some nine years ago and they unitd with the Methodist church where his membership was at the time of death.

Besides his wife and children he leaves his father, a niece and nephew and a host of friends.

He was an industrious and hard working man, good and kind to his wife and children.

Harry Knaress, Sam Burnett, M. D. Rodibaugh, Roy W. Dicker, M. D. Leech and F. H. McQuiston acted as pallbearers.

W. E. GLOTFELTY
