Edmond John CLARRIDGE, born in Ohio Oct. 2, 1844, and died at the home of his son in Davenport June 17, 1917. Came with his parents to Iowa in childhood; married Aug. 5, 1867, Sarah CLINKINBEARD; one son, O. J. CLARRIDGE who now lives at Davenport, Iowa.

Leaves wife (? - she died 1874) and son, two grandchildren, one sister Mrs. Mary GUMRE (sic - GUMMERE) of Libertyville, and one brother James CLARRIDGE of Ottumwa. Methodist Church.
