OBIT. Mace CLARRIDGE, born Apr. 13, 1817, Fayette Co., Ohio, died at his home in Liberty Twp. Mar. 21, 1904. He grew to manhood in his native state. Apr. 10, 1842, married Massa PARKER. Children: Nathan P., Edmond John, Martha T. TREGO, James W. and Mary S. GUMMERE.

Wife died Oct. 16, 1851, and in Jan., 1858, he married Louisa J. SLIMMER. Seven children: Ella PRATT, Frank A., Ada M. PICKARD, Nelson J., Anna N., Lettie McKEEVER and Grace M.. Nathan P. and Martha T. TREGO preceded him to the grave. Second wife died Dec. 17, 1868 (sic - 1886).

Mr. CLARRIDGE left Ohio in 1845 and in Oct. of that year reached Liberty Twp. and secured the farm where he resided about 59 years. The country was very new when he came.... Kind companion, faithful father, obliging neighbor and a good citizen.... Fell Cemetery.
