SOLOMON NELSON, 89, 60 YEARS IN JEFFERSON, DEAD

Fairfield, Ia., Nov. 2- Solomon Nelson, a resident of Jefferson county for the past 60 years, died at his home in Salina, Monday forenoon after a few days illness. He was 89 years of age and was well known by a large circle of friends. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Swedish Lutheran church in Salina in charge of the Rev. Mr. Elmquist, of Swedesburg.

Mr. Nelson is survived by his wife and the following children: Ernest, Holly, Colo.; Victor, Springfield, Mo.; Paul, Ogden, Utah and Carl, Salina; Mrs. Charles James, Beckwith; Mrs. C.W. Hutchinson, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Peter Nelson, Lockridge and Miss Mary Ottumwa.
