MISS TACE HERON, LAST OF FAIRFIELD FAMILY, IS BURIED

Fairfield, Ia., April 13.- Miss Tace Heron, one of the old and well known residents of Lockridge in Jefferson county and the last surviving member of her family who died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. M. Mickey in Lockridge was laid to rest yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Baptist church in Lockridge.

The Rev. C.E. Vanderpool conducted the services. Burial took place in the family lot in the Lockridge cemetery.

Miss Heron was born Aug. 27, 1854 and spent her entire life in the Lockridge community. She is survived by her nephew, Judge T.H. Carter of Corydon and a host of friends. Since the death of her brother, John Heron, last August she had failed in health.
