Fred J. Peterson.
The funeral of Fred J. Peterson, who died Friday at his home south of Lockridge, following a stroke of paralysis, will be held Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Upland church, and will be conducted by Rev. Sandeen. Interment will take place in the Upland cemetery.
Mr. Peterson was well known in the vicinity of Lockridge and highly esteemed. He was born in Sweden April 28, 1866, and came to America in 1883, coming directly from New York to Jefferson county. He is survived by his aged mother; his wife and a son, Arthur, all of Lockridge; also three brothers, Alvin Peterson of Madison, Wis., C.H. and G.W. Peterson of Lockridge; and two sisters, Miss Dora, of Lockridge and Mrs. George Sturgis, of Fairfield.
