Mrs. COLE, 55, Dies Suddenly

Mrs. Floyd (sic - Jesse Floyd) COLE, 1009 S. Main St., died suddenly at 11:40 a.m. today at the Jefferson County Hospital. She was 55.

Mrs. COLE had been seriously ill for several weeks. The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral Home.

Services are pending.

Rites Thursday For Mrs. COLE

Last rites for Mrs. Floyd COLE, 55, will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home.

Mrs. COLE , 1109 S. Main St., died suddenly Tuesday at the Jefferson County Hospital after a month's illness.

Services will be conducted by the Rev. Wilson Hyde. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. COLE was the former Maxine ALLISON. She was born Jan. 4, 1915, the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth HESTON ALLISON. She was married to Floyd COLE June 8, 1939.

Mrs. COLE had assisted her husband in the operation of COLE's Grocery for many years. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

Surviving are husband and three children: Jerry COLE, Urbana, Ill.; Mrs. Diane E. JOHNSON, Fairfield, and Cathy at home.

Also surviving are one grandson; her mother Mrs. Charles ALLISON, Fairfield; sisters and brother: Mrs. Ella KAUSE, Mrs. Jeanette DUCKWORTH and Dick ALLISON, all of Fairfield. She was preceded in death by her father.
