Mrs. Ruth FARMER, 77, 309 E. Fillmore, died early this morning at Ottumwa Hospital in Ottumwa. Behner Funeral Home. (Bur. Batavia Cemetery).

Born Feb. 21, 1895, in Jefferson County, daughter of Arch and Annie SUTHERLIN McCLEARY. Married to George W. FARMER June 30, 1915. He died Feb. 5, 1965. Lived in Batavia community many years and the last four years in Fairfield. Member Presbyterian Church.

Survived by two sons, Marvin and Roger FARMER, both of Fairfield; seven grandchildren and six grgrchn; four sisters, Mrs. George ZILLMAN of Fairfield, Mrs. Lou FARMER of Loveland, Colo., Mrs. Milo HOWE of Alhambra, Calif., and Dulcena McCLEARY of Fairfield. Preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
