ELIZABETH ARNDT, 97, died Tues. at her home south of Brighton..Burial will be in St. Joseph cemetery. Gould Funeral Home in Brighton. Born July 5, 1869 in Germany and came to the United States at age 15; daughter of PETER and GERTRUDE WEYER FRANSAN; married Nov. 27, 1890 to WILLIAM ARNDT who preceded her in death. Member Altar and Rosary society and of the St. Joseph Catholic Church. Surviving are children: MRS. GERTRUDE FRITZ, ANNA ARNDT, MARY ARNDT and WILLIAM JAMES ARNDT, all of Brighton; MRS. CECELIA MILLANE and ANTHONY J. ARNDT of Fairfield; MARGARET ARNDT of Chicago, Ill., and MRS. MATILDA MURRAIN of Carrollton, Mo.; 28 grandchildren and 67 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by one daughter, two sons, two brothers, two sisters, two great grandchildren.
