SERVICES FOR JACOB POHREN, 92, ARE HELD
Aged county resident died Sunday at Pleasant Plain

Funeral services for Jacob POHREN, 92, well-known Jefferson county resident, were held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's church in Pleasant Plain in charge of the Rev. Fr. E. P. Seidel.

Mr. POHREN passed away Sunday at 2:10 p.m. at the home of his daughter Mrs. William BEKEL where he had been for the last four weeks. He had been in failing health for the last several years.

Eight grandsons acted as pallbearers. They were Lester GRAF, Lloyd BEKEL, Otto PFEIFFER, Felix KEINLEN and Richard, Clifford, Marlyn and Francis POHREN.

He was the son of Vincent and Margaret KLINE POHREN. At the time of his death Mr. POHREN was 92 years, five months and seven days of age.

He is survived by nine children, Wendell and John of Keota, Mrs. J. C. KIENLEN of Burlington, Vincent and Leo of Pleasant Plain, Peter of Fairfield, Mrs. William BEKEL, Mrs. Charles GRAF and Chris POHREN of Lockridge, and by sisters, Mrs. Chris MINEART of East Pleasant Plain and Mrs. Michael FRITZ, also a brother Peter POHREN of Burlington and forty grandchildren and thirty-six great grandchildren.
