40 YEARS AGO—1926. Mrs. Mary ZAHARRIS, aged 96 years and the oldest person in the community, died Sunday night Nov. 21 at the home of her son, Lucas, south of Pleasant Plain. Funeral services were held at St. Joseph’s Church at 9 o’clock Wed. morning in charge of Father Courtney and burial was made in the adjoining cemetery.
